Warehouse order picker

Responsibilities include: timely, accurate order picking and general warehouse duties. Attention to detail is very important, produce industry experience is favorable. Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment. Must be punctual and have your own vehicle to get to and from work.

Hours: Sundays 6am – 6pm, Mon – Thursday 9am – 6pm.

Packer – Fruits & Vegetables and Snacks

Responsibilities include: Setup, adjusting, and operating various pieces of computerized and manual packaging equipment to ensure that daily packaging requirements are met in the Production Department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Completing the Pre-Shift and End of Shift Documentation for the production Line Work
Setting up the packaging machines to ensure efficiency, quality and safe practices
Set up and change product materials in a quick, efficient manner
Ensure that all code, date, units/label printers are properly set up
Setting up, cleaning and calibrating all scales to maintain accurate weight control
Ensure the line runs at or exceeds efficiency
Record all equipment downtime and properly log information for maintenance purposes
Complete all required production paperwork
Must have excellent hand-eye dexterity when doing machine and/or manual packaging.
Palletizing skids of finished product
Follow and practice all GMP’s protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
Work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Ability to take instructions and execute duties as assigned by Operations Manager

Education, Experience & Competency Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Previous experience in the food/Produce industry
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient ability to speak, read, write and take direction in English
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in order to meet deadlines
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have good attention to detail
Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with a team or independently in a multicultural warehouse work environment.
Ability to engage in routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items that weigh up to 50lbs or more for extended periods of time
Must be able to efficiently use Walkie/forklift/Reach Truck in the warehouse.
Must be flexible to work dayshift, afternoon shift and Sundays when required
Must have WHMIS as well GMP certificate

Transportation Accessibility:
Must have a reliable means of transportation to commute to work

Compensation:
$15.00/hour
